Fall Classes Begin Monday, August 8, 2011

Who are the Rising Starz?

Rising Starz is a dedicated team of dancers who are serious about dance and preparing to enter the competition world .  If your dancer can't get enough dance, loves to perform and is willing to give some of their time back to the community-consider Rising Starz.

How do I become a Rising Starz team member??

• Be a dancer who is excited about becoming a member of a team.
• Be age 6 or older (6 by September 1st.)
• Have at least 1 year of dance experience
• Audition on Saturday, August 27th at 1:00 pm
• Be willing to commit to at least 3 regular dance classes per week which include a Ballet technique class, a Jazz class and the Rising Starz class.    Additionally, you will be expected to attend an Advanced Technique Class one Saturday per month.
• Be available on weekends for Rehearsals and Performances in the community.

Auditions are Fri.August 26,2011 at 6:30pm

Please wear a black leotard, pink tights and ballet shoes to the audition.  Hair should be pulled away from the face neatly in either a bun or ponytail.

Final Auditions will be

Friday, August 26:

6:30-6:45- Rising Starz (7 years and older)

6:45-7:00- Jazz (Elementary School 9 years and older)

7:00-7:15- Jazz/Contemporary (Middle/High School)

7:15-7:30- Tap and Clogging

7:30-7:45- Hip Hop
